Svaapta Group’s President and Principal Engineer, Prasanth Malisetty built his resume with diverse projects throughout Louisiana, Georgia, and beyond. Best known for traffic engineering and intelligent transportation systems, Prasanth’s additional background in planning and project development enables him to add value in any transportation project. His passion for engineering comes from his father who was also a civil engineer. His father encouraged him from childhood to analyze and apply engineering principles in day-to-day activities. This has also taught him to be persistent and assertive in teams achieving project goals.

Since his college days, Prasanth has always been an active member with Institute of Transportation Engineers organization. He has served as President for ITE’s Deep South section. This experience not only reinforced his commitment to traffic engineering but also sparked the interest in serving the community by starting a small business firm what focuses on quality of living and connecting communities. Through Svaapta Group Prasanth would like to bring together technical expertise, client experience and business best practices to serve the transportation needs of the region.

Prasanth is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas. He is also certified as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), Professional Transportation Planner (PTP), Road Safety Professional Level 1 (RSP1), and IMSA Traffic Signal Field Level II.
